Scarborough Cricket Club offers a relaxing day out in delightful surroundings.  We have many options to choose from,  the traditional Pavilion Lounge, The Festival Suite, The Players Dining Room and the elegant Festival Marquee.

Marquee Hospitality

The centrepiece of the Welcome to Yorkshire Cricket Festival!  A unique opportunity to impress your clients, and network with other businesses, or simply enjoy the Festival atmosphere with friends and family.

The elegant marquee stands proudly on the boundary, offering a unique chance to enjoy your day in style.

Hospitality in the Marquee is available at all First Class Matches, at a cost of £80 per person plus VAT. Other rooms are also available.

Pavilion Lounge

The charming Pavilion has bee refurbished to a high standard, but still retains its delightful atmosphere and history. Soak up the heritage of the Club with our wonderful historic prints, tropies and photographs whilst enjoying a day to remember.

Members Rooms

The 'members rooms' occupy a delightful part of the main pavilion with views extending across the cricket ground. These rooms provide an ideal location for meetings and social gatherings with the benefit of full bar & catering facilities if required.

Players Dining Room

The 'players dining' room seats around 50, and can be configured to suit your requirements. Full bar & catering facilities can be available, with the room open for use during the day as well as evenings. It's an ideal meeting room, but is not available during some cricket matches.

Tea Room

Facing west and overlooking the ground.

The Tea Room provide an unusual and delightful venue for smaller parties and informal light meals, or afternoon tea. There is a terrace area which makes for a relaxing spot to enjoy a drink in the afternoon and evening sunshine.

This room can be used throughout the year.

The Festival Suite

High up behind the Popular Bank with its own private balcony.

There are two rooms, a small kitchen and private washrooms, together they form a unique, private, self contained area with balcony and stunning views over the ground. We normally offer these rooms with an open, hotel style bar, morning and afternoon buffets, with 'on-demand' tea and coffee.

Suitable for the exclusive use of parties up to twenty four. There are special deals for local clubs and groups who wish to have this private facility.

Business - work & play

The Pavilion at Scarborough for business events, conferences - and relaxation

Coming to The Pavilion at Scarborough, to work, for your business meetings - planning, training, team building; conference or exhibition is THE first class choice. You can select from rooms on the first or second floor (both with disabled access) and these then can be set up to suit your specific needs.

There are adjoining smaller rooms which can be used for syndicates, break out groups or refreshments.

The Pavilion at Scarborough has disabled access, large screen televisions which can be linked to your laptop, flipcharts, notepaper and pens, and access to a projector and screen. There is parking for cars within the ground. All rooms can be set out to your specific requests.

We offer a range of refreshments to complement our room hire packages, ranging from refreshments, to breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Our buffet menus are freshly prepared at the Club, and offer a variety of choices, both hot and cold.

The Pavilion is also the first class venue for a company's informal celebrations, presentaions, christmas parties or end of conference relaxing.

The Tearooms

The Pavilion

The Pavilion Lounge

The Lounge is on the first floor and has a bar and lounge area overlooking the ground with an adjacent dining area seating up to fifty people.

Using the lounge and bar area for pre dinner drinks provides a comfortable and welcoming ambience. There is also the flexibility to lay the whole area for dining, cafe style, seating up to eighty.

Members’ rooms

Situated on the second floor of the Pavilion is a delightful Lounge with bar overlooking the ground and with a balcony. A removable dance floor is available. This Lounge presents a charming welcome area for your guests.

Adjacent to the informal area is a dining area suitable for over forty people; this can be separated from the Lounge by a partition. For more formal dinners the whole area can be laid out for dining seating, about 100 people.

Adjacent to the bar area of the Members’Rooms The George Hirst Room and the The Londesborough Room provide quiet dining accommodation for smaller parties of up to thirty people.

Party & Social Functions

A first class venue for party and social functions

The Pavilion at Scarborough provides a delightful setting for a party or any social function. The charming Pavilion facilities can be tailored to suit one’s needs - for an informal party or a more formal fine dining function.

Choose from rooms in the Pavilion, or the Tea Rooms or, have the whole ground to yourself!

Catering

From comfort food to classic cuisine – the choice is yours for every party and social occasion. Our Pavilion buffet menu (priced from around £8 per person) is suitable for most informal occasions and the Dinner Menu (from around £22 per person) for special events and formal celebrations.

Either menu can be adapted to your tastes - or we will put together menus that are exactly to your needs.
