The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is bringing the Caribbean to Scarborough with our beach cricket tournament, part of the iconic Scarborough Cricket Festival. We can’t guarantee blistering sunshine, palm trees and a steel band; however we can guarantee a fantastic day and the unique opportunity to play in an organised competition on South Bay Beach in front of Scarborough Spa.

The tournament will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th August. We are looking for 6 x under 11 boys’ teams on the 6th and 7th to compete in a round robin format on 2 pitches. Then, on the 8th, we would like 6 x under 13 girls’ teams to take centre stage under the same format.

On completion of the tournament, all participants and their coaches will receive their tickets to watch the afternoon and evening session of the Yorkshire v Essex Specsavers County Championship match taking place at Scarborough Cricket Ground.

If you are interested in a day at the beach with some cricket to entertain the children, followed by an afternoon watching Yorkshire CCC vs Essex CCC, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 0113 2033632.
