Winning the toss and electing to field, Wykeham were restricted to only 25 runs in the power play overs with Keiron Rutter bowling a spell of 4 unchanged overs opening up conceding only 16 runs. Runs continued to be hard to come by with Harry Edwards continuing with a mature spell of 2-18 from 4 overs, supported by Babu K Mathew with 1-20. Going into the last 4 overs, Wykeham were well placed on 84-5. However Tom Power (1-4) and skipper Andy Exton (5-9) mopped up the tail, restricting them to 88 all out from 19.4 overs.

In reply, Keiron Rutter promoted as pinch hitter helped himself to 33 from 22 balls and combined with Sam Spenceley put on 56 for the first wicket, Sam finishing with 20. The chase finished with the 3rds on 89-4 from 16 overs with Tom Pratt again looking good with 15.

A good team performance that was setup with good tight bowling from all and a fantastic display of ground fielding.

Pickering 4ths away awaits in the next round.
