A massive congratulations to the whole of the SCC 2nd XI team on their win at the weekend which lead to becoming the winners of the Galtres D2. This sees the team being promoting into Division 1 for the 2020 season. The service for Bill Pincher will take place at Scarborough Crematorium on Monday 16 September at 3.45pm. Bill's family would be pleased to welcome all who knew this wonderful cricketer to the service, and also celebrate his life at The Angel in North Street Scarborough afterwards.

Scarborough Cricket Club are saddened to learn that one of it’s former players, Bill Pincher has passed away. William Leslie Pincher and first came to North Marine Road in 1971 at the same time as Phil Hart. He was known as either Pinch or Bill or Billy. Hard hitting batsman and right arm fast medium - deceptively fast off an innocuous and shortish run up.
