ALL STARS AT SCARBOROUGH CRICKET CLUB All Stars Cricket gives girls and boys from the ages of five to eight an opportunity to become a star. The curriculum of fun cricket activities and games provides your children with the basic movement skills to begin a lifelong love of our sport and general physical activity. For an hour a week over an eight-week period, our fully trained and vetted activators will deliver game-based activities that teach basic cricket skills including catching, throwing and hitting moving balls and social skills such as teamwork and communication. Yorkshire II host Nottinghamshire II at North Marine Road in a three day match starting on Monday 23 April, followed by 50 over match against the same opposition on Thursday 26 April. Both matches start at 11am and are free entry. The bar in the Pavilion, and the Tea Room will be open for drinks and refreshments. All are welcome.

Scarborough Cricket Club members voted overwhelmingly at the Annual General Meeting on Monday 26th March to back proposals submitted by the club’s management committee. Most of the proposals revolve around the way that club is managed, with arguably the biggest change being the creation of a six person elected management board replacing the current management committee. The new board will have the authority to appoint non-executive members who will not have voting rights. These will typically be professional people brought on board to advise in specialist areas.
